Gah! WTF is with this Liveware! and Win2k?

Well, other than the fact that I can't get the PC-DVD player to play w/o setting digital only output, what the hell is up with the following:

Everytime I empty the recycle bin, it BEEPS. Not like a chord beep, but a PC Speaker BEEP. Like "BEEP!" (gah! argh!) I had to record a .1 second blank wav and put it into my multimedia settings to turn it off! (Take into account that my multimedia settings was set to "No Sounds&quot😉.

I don't have any BEEPs anywhere else, why the hell is it BEEPing at me?? Stop BEEPing!!

BEEP.

Liveware caused to many problems for me in Win2K so I just use the default drivers that Win2K installs.. As for the PC-DVD, what model are you using?

I have the original Live Value card and Win2K with the Dxr3 and everything works fine. Have you tried putting the sound card in another slot. I know some people have trouble with the SB in the first and second slot. Also what driver are you using for the Dxr3? As far as I know there is only one.
