And with good reason. I'm anxiously awaiting World of Warcraft, but at heart I'm quite afraid it will have a large number of Blizzard's typical crowd of 12 year olds... that was how EQ was getting and (along with Sony's rapage of customers and having us pay to beta-test their crapware) was a big part of my quitting. Vanguard looks great, and is being developed by the guy who was in charge of the original EverQuest (when he left EQ really went to sh*t) and quite a good chunk of the original EQ development team... but we'll be lucky to see it in '06... WoW is taking its own sweet time for that matter. Going out sucks, that big evil light-ball in the sky is not to be fscked with. I stand by my decision to quit EQ, as it sucks ass now. I don't (can't, really, with a 90+ IQ) watch TV. So wtf should I do besides nef?
 
Were you able to get Time flagged?
I was in the process of elemental flagging when I quit eq.

No, I'm sort of a loner type... Not to say I don't like people, but a guild was too many, too close, and too much committment for me, and there's no way you do that sort of thing alone or in a group... My server (Quellious) had a conglomerate of non-guilded raiders, but 90% of it was moronic children who couldn't buy their way into a guild and so raiding with them was a nightmare. I had mostly droppable gear, about 5 million plat worth. I sold it all for a sum of 4.8 million (got antsy to quit asap near the end) and sold that for $3g US 😀 I was Gurck, a troll shaman. My stats were roughly equivalent to those who'd spent a small to moderate amount of time in the elemental planes. Ever the good businessman 😉
 
when I'm bored I go to my local gym and run on the treadmill, especially after midnight since there's only 3-5 people there.

Play Battlefield 1942. An oldie but a goodie. Best mods too. hehe thats what I play 24/7.
