I never used to have this problem, but lately I wake up between 3 and 4 to piss. It's not a lot of piss though, but it feels like a lot. It's totally disrupting my sleep now because I'm sorta starting to sleep lighter and wake up several times every night because the 3-4 one is becoming such a habit.

Just be thankful it wakes you up 😉

Try to not drink anything within a few hours of going to bed, and pee right before you turn in.

I have to drink a glass of water about an hour before I go to bed because I need to take a pill 2hrs after dinner.
I try to drink very little before that though and get as much out as I can before bed. but it doesn't help

Have you seen a doctor?

See a doctor, a few possible reasons:

1. Enlarged prostrate due to many different reasons, see your doc.
2. Drink less water before you go to bed, if you can't due to having to take your pills, then ask your doc to see if you can work something.
3. Some kind of infection, even something small like urinal tract infection can have you pissing like crazy.

go for a jog after. helps get the water moving along faster and since you'll be tired afterwards, falling asleep won't be a problem.

meh, you really don't want to go for a jog before hitting the sack. Physical activity releases endorphins and wakes you up even more, so you'll be tired but will probably have trouble falling alseep if you jog within a few hours of going to bed..

I have this problem too, once a night I have to get up to pee now. I'm only 23, but when I went to my college clinic I was informed that my prostate was a little large, but felt smooth and that I should see a urologist. I had no insurance at the time so I said 'fvck it'. But I guess I should probably check that out now.

I'm not that concerned because as far as I can tell, an enlarged prostate just makes you pee more often. Not that big of a deal.

see a doc before it falls off

Consider seeing a doctor.

There are a number of causes of this including simply drinking too much, prostate problems, bladder irritation/infection, diabetes, and hormone problems. Most siginificant causes can be very easily checked out with a simple examination and a urine and/or blood test.

Drinking water before going to bed will do that to you unless you are dehydrated.

What's so abnormal about that?

Does a full cavity search fall under simple examinations?

Yea I had this week where I had to piss like once every hour. It sucked as I was driving from San Jose to Riverside. I barely drank anything and the piss was as clear as water. Yes I got an enlarged prostate and the "excellent" doctors at my campus health center say there is no way to fix it unless I goto a specialist which my health insurance doesn't cover. So I get stuck with the need to run to the restroom every 2-3 hours.

Serious health problem according to the doctors? Nope. An annoyance? Yup.
