My monitor refrech rate is at max (85hz) and my eyes don't feel strained. My left eyelid has a mind of it's own and i can feel it pulsing and twictching. It's been doing this for a couple days now. What should I do, what causes this?

No idea, but the same thing happens to me, but its not my monitor or anything. It just does that. Frustrating at times. Embarrasing at others.

My right eye does that from time to time...usually when I haven't slept well for a few days. It usually goes away after a good nights sleep....

I had the exact same thing. It's gone now. Yours will probably go away in a couple days too.

I went through a few months of eye twitching... had no clue what was causing it. For me it was apparently cigarettes, because about a few weeks after I quit... They stopped. I think caffeine and stress are 2 other ways that eye twitching becomes common.

hm, maybe it is stress, but I am a really mellow guy. I do have a good amount of work to do, and I'm not looking forward to my drive home to VT tommorow, 6 hours on memorial day weekend, so maybe things are catching up to me subconsciously.

But really, I feel fine, I had an amazing chili burger for lunch. It was so good and I feel so content. Yet my eye twitches.

Get a small hand towel, spray some rather hot water on it, squeeze out the water and place it over your head for a few minutes. Then go wash your face with cold water, ice cold perferably. Should calm your nerve which is causing the twitching.

Probably an old wives tale, but I always heard that some extra Vitamin C can help with twitches....:shrug; seems to work for me.

It is stress related... at least mine was. I had it for about 6 months before I graduated :D I haven't had it since then...

Ah the power of stress relief. :)
