My only reservation is to be at work for a go-live of the new version of the corporate-wide SAP system at 7:00 pm on valentines day.
Who the fvck picked that time is what I want to know.

Go a few nights earlier... as a surprise to her! Tell her that you love her so much, you couldn't wait to take her out for v-day dinner.

reward: nookie.

Then, cook dinner for her on v-day (or an early breakfast in bed)
Reward: nookie.

(personally, I hate the holiday)

if you want to go to a decent place, more than likely, you're screwed. my friend tried calling a week ago and most restaurants were booked already. good luck to you.

if all else fails, buy some stuff and make a nice dinner for the both of you.

good times.

I'm treating a friend out to a night on the town (she's had a few heartbreaks in the last few months), and surprisingly, the restaurant I was looking at (never been before...the Bamboo Club in Novi) still had a spot open.

yea tha'ts what i was afraid of...

if a restaurant closes at 10, will they still make food at like 9:45? because i found a reservation for 9:30 but they close at 10... does that mean we have to be out by 10 or nobody new comes in at 10...

the chefs will still cook but they won't allow anyone else in the restaurant. i'm just not sure how they'll treat you since most of them want to go home because by the time you're done eating your dinner, it'll probably be close to midnight and no one wants to stay late on a saturday night.

In most cities. You are about two months late for the good places. A month late for decent places, and three months late for the best of the best.

Your best bet is a late lunch/early dinner, or hope someone cancels and you are at the top of the wait list(if they have one).
