GAH!!! I LOST MY CONTACTS IN OUTLOOK EXPRESS!

GRRRR.... I just converted windows ME to windows 2000 on this computer. I lost one of the e-mail addresses that is really important to me. A real good friend of mine that I haven't talked to in a while just gave me their e-mail address (they're not too good with computers) and I lost it, I had it written down and lost that... then when I converted I lost the one that was in my machine! I know their e-mail address was at yahoo.com is there someway that I can get this e-mail address back?

My wife once lost her contacts down the sink. She naturally blamed it on me.

OE is not a great program. I use Outlook instead, and have been pretty satisfied with it.

yeah... that's what I converted to... it was supposedly going to bring all my contacts from the other version into this one.. and guess what..... it didn't.

Is there a way I can search through the Yahoo registered users? like some sort of search feature?

I don't think that Yahoo has such a search function. Could be wrong though. [edit]: I was wrong

BTW why don't you just use a non-integrated, non-bloated email-client like Eudora? Those programs will never be affected when you upgrade the OS unlike the integrated MS junk.
