Gah! Don't know what I want for christmas... help me decide.

My parents gave me a budget of around $500 to get me christmas stuff. I can't decide exactly what I want. Origionally, I was just going to get a nice chair for my dorm desk, some clothes, some DVD's, and a bunch of other random stuff. But the last week before winter break one of my friends had a friend over from his hometown and that guy brought a PS2. We all had a blast playing Football, Basketball, and other games on it. So now I thought I might want an XBOX.

So the question is... is the XBOX worth it? What would be your recommendation... a nice chair to sit in, some new clothes, and other small but usefull/fun stuff or a XBOX and some games?

I can't decide but I need to decide by friday (today).

Give me some ideas on what you guys think.

Why not just leave it to your parents to decide for you? They usually buy the right things, usually. I can't bring myself to ask for anything for Christmas, even if I'm told to. I'm usually happy to get something, anything. It's nice to get something you want, too, especially when you didn't ask for it - it makes you feel remembered.

Gah, it's 3:56 AM, I can't sleep, and I'm rambling on. My point still stands though - don't ask for anything and have faith in your parents .

I wouldn't be going for GTA3 because it was the multiplayer games that were a lot of fun. If I got the XBOX, I would get Halo, DOA3, and Madden 2002.

And my parents are getting me some stuff that I dont' know about. They just want me to decide on the bulk of it to make sure I get somethign that I will have fun with or can use in college.

Anyone else?
