My water-filter-pitcher thingi broke . . .. More specifically, I have a huge crack on the part where it holds all the faucet water so it goes through the filter - I don't want to shell $20 for a whole new pitcher, so is there a replacement part I can buy?

Blue part on this thing is cracked

So is there any way to replace this part? I have two other filters sitting there, and unless I can use them in a PUR filter, I'd hold out for a little while . . ..

AH...the world is going to end!

Do those things really make the water taste better? I've never tried them.

Not worth replacing just the part IMO. I doubt they even make them. I'd get a PUR filter for the faucet. Brita = Brittle, but I've never heard of anyon'es pur getting messed up.

I thnk they do - I'd get a PuR filter, but like I said, i still have 3 filters that I need to use . . . you guys think if I use epoxy to glue it together, it'd be okay? I'm pretty sure I won't be ingesting anything harmful . . . I hope?

My Pur broke, but then again, I dropped it 5 feet onto a tile floor. :D

Anyhoo, my roommate said that as soon as water touches epoxy, even after it dried off, the stuff would almost immediately break down and I'd be drinking that stuff . . . any truth?
