I'm not saying some of it is not humorous. There really are a lot of fuved up cars out there as the result of "ricing". But the topic itself has gotten old. Ricing is an epidemic and it's not going to slow down. For every 300+hp mustang out there, there will be a riced Civic. I've learned to accept it. These threads that go into detail and pick apart every detail of a riced car and say how "lame" they are are lame themselves, IMO.

You're right about one thing, the "riceboy" craze is indeed not winding down... It think it's time to move on.

Actually, the thermostat temp made a big diff in older mustangs so they used to mention it all the time in the stats and even in car mags. Not saying this is the case here but it can make a huge diff.
 
Call me a prude. I say let em mod their cars all they want. Where I take issue is on a couple things:

a - A car (rice, truck or otherwise) that I can not only hear, but also feel. (Whether it be the engine, exhaust or audio system)

b - Racing. :| (You want to go on a track? Great. Just not a fan of folks racing on public roads)

i'm not against anyone adding performance to their car. hell i'd be a hypocrite because i add performce to my computer. but when people do stupid stuff (as mentioned above) i just laugh...
