So, I think I'm going to pick up one of these. I'm going to be doing some traveling in Europe this summer and I use multiple unsecured computers on campus and that doesn't even include my occasional use of your average Joe?s computer. I like the idea that the program can use your fingerprint to sign you in to websites transparently. The idea here is that you can use a single sign on (SSO) to account for your authenticity; the genius here is the finger print! You can then login to websites on the computer transparently through the software? which impervious to most known forms of key logging or clipboard monitoring. The bonus, it also makes it hard to recover data from a stolen unit. If the SSO had required keystrokes to verify authenticity, it would be much easier to recover the data.

Now the competitors:

A-Data Biometric (approx $36)

Physically big, made of thin plastic? looks like it will wear down quickly.

Sandisk Cruzer Profile Biometric (approx $41)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820155425
The cable between the two pieces would break quickly I?d imagine.

So it might be a bit extra, but a few style points, well designed software and form couldn't hurt.
