I'm trying to print this document out and it substitutes little squares for all the characters. I thought it was a printer driver problem but I switched printers and it's still doing it. WTH is going on?

Yea, I have this problem too.. Solutions?
Edit: My problem is on a Lexmark Z12, with WindowsXP (using XP shipped drivers).

The first thing I would do is check Adobe's knowledgebase.

I suspect a font substitution or encoding problem.

I've tried looking everywhere. All I can find is some offhand remarks to PostScript, but no actual detailing of a solution.

This happened when I was trying to print my tax returns. I ended up printing them from work.

check adobe type manager for fonts and their substitutions.
you might also check in properties for font settings and all for the document.
sounds kind of like you have corrupted font files, or you don't have the correct fonts on your system and adobe is replacing them with something that your printer doesn't recognize.
