Choking. Like they used to do every July.

SF is a good team, but the Rangers are making them out to be an incredible team where there are no holes in the lineup. I had never heard of Ross until he hit two bombs of Halliday in the NLCS. Heck, he nearly has 50% of his yearly home run total in the playoffs.

Dont get me wrong, SF pitching is phenomenal, and Matt Cain has been lights out this post season, but how can the Rangers get shut out twice in the WS and have the starters and the bullpen completely unravel.

Gahh. Gotta love pro sports and how quickly momentum changes.

Eh, heard the same thing when the Phillies and Braves couldn't buy runs. The Giants are much better than they seem on paper because their lineup is so much different than it was in teh first 1/3 of the season

How do you expect to beat a team wearing orange and black on Halloween? Well, except for the Bengals.

We're getting beat by a good team (and quite a bit by the umpires last game). We just have to get it together and actually hit.

Pitching wins and SF is built better for the postseason. Also, consider that SF hit as many homers as Texas at home (but in a pitcher's park) so they are no slouches at the plate either.

I think the super crappy play of the cowgirls earlier that day who played nearby (both stadiums share the same parking lots) rubbed off on the Rangers and destroyed their momentum from Game 3...

Lee against Lincecum again. Maybe this time, it will turn out to be the marquee pitching matchup everyone expected it to be last time out.

I'm sort of torn on how strongly to root for Lincecum today. Yeah I want the Giants to win the series, but I have a game 6 ticket. :D

Thank God baseball is almost over for the season.

Problem is the season will start back in a few weeks.

The reason the Rangers are doing bad is what I call the Metroplex Choke. All major sporting teams in the DFW area suffer from this. They can do phenominal through the season or half way through a season, to were everyone is talking about how they'll win it all or it's such a great team, then they choke. Just flat out stink it up. The Rangers do it, the cowboys, the Stars, the Mavs.
Non of the current generations of the teams have what it takes to strive and win the big one.

Brooks Conrad, NLDS MVP.

Go Giants! You beat my Braves so it made it easy to cheer for ya. Hopefully we'll get the Lincecum/Lee matchup that was supposed to be Game 1.

Dude the Rangers are playing in the f*cking World Series. They are getting beat by a better San Francisco Giants team that happens to be a great baseball team. I wouldn't call this a choke job.

Ditto. lol. You can watch the HD screen from the ballpark. Kind of cool, but definitely over the top

The umps have had bad calls, but none of them would have made a difference if they werent bad calls. They Rangers have just plain sucked this WS.

Lol. I was just thinking about the Mavericks and there monstrous season a few years ago and then losing to Baron Davis and Golden State.

Personally, I hope they ditch Vlad and get a ball player who is not such a liability in the field. With the way the rangers were running the bases this year, any 4 hole hitter would get the plate production he had.
