I have my build running but Im running into a weird "issue" that on boots it seems like the motherboard turns off a few times as its coming up. Does anyone know if its running through tests as it does this?

Check out this thread on Gigabyte's boot loop issues - hopefully it is not what you are describing. From what I have read, it seems that the boot loop is usually a memory issue. Not certain of that though.

EDIT: just re-read your post - it looks like you are able to boot into windows so if that is the case, the boot-loop doesn't apply to you.

Thanks for the link. There was something in there about the computer booting after X reboots which kind of sounds like what I have. In that case it was based upon the memory. I think I should probably have windows run a memory test to make sure its ok.

I ran into a simular issue, where my GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3(rev. 1.3) worked great for 2 months and then developed a boot loop issue. Turned out to be the intel display driver supplied by Gigabyte. Do NOT select the "install all" option on the drivers disk. After the Windows install, check the device manager and only install drivers for devices marked with yellow. Also, if you are using the onboard video ports, be sure and disable the pci video options in the bios settings. As for why my problem waited 2 months to surface, I don't have a clue; unless maybe it was triggered by a Windows automatic update?? I thought those were turned off but....
