GA-X58A-UD5 - running two fans off a single header

Hi guys,

I cleaned and reseated my CPU heatsink (Thermalright Venomous-X) recently and noticed that it gets really hot to the touch when under load. I have a single Zalman ZM-F3-FDB fan right now ant it's essentially indiscernible among other coolers in the case. I have it connected to the CPU fan header and set it to be voltage controlled in the BIOS. Now I want to add a second ZM3 fan for push-pull and would like it to be controlled by the BIOS as well. I couldn't find anything about rated current for these fans on Zalman's site and am afraid that I might break something running two of them off a single header. What is the worst that can happen if I run two fans using an Y-splitter?

Two fans can run off of a single CPU fan Header.
Just need a splitter and a fan that is hopefully the same as the one you have.

The worst thing that could happen is your fan header burning out. But very unlikely.

Then I'm not going to take any chances. The load temps are just fine as is - ~68 deg. C on the hottest core.
