I have a relatively new build which includes the GA-x58A-UD3R motherboard, and am running Windows 7 64 bit.
So far I have done 2 fresh installs, each time I need to d/l and install the USB 3.0 driver from Gigabyte's website. Each of the 2 times I have done this, the computer locks up completely - no BSOD or anything like that. After hard restarting and uninstalling and reinstalling the USB 3.0 drivers, Windows takes them without issue and that's it.
But this same scenario happened again the same way on the second install.
Has anyone ever had the same problems with USB 3.0 controller drivers crashing Windows?
