GA-X48-DQ6 tips/tricks/anything else?

first off, see my signature below.

I am wondering if anyone has any, would be better, alot of experience with this motherboard?

there are a few settings in the M.I.T. options which I do not understand.
I am going to try for a 3.8GHz overclock and if possible, since there should be a little bit of room left regarding the vCore.

Anyone with any good experience would be very much appreciated =)

Your board is almost identical to the GA-X38-DQ6. There's an old thread about the X38 board here -> Where Are The Gigabyte GA-X38-DQ6 Motherboards?.

This is a really old thread and nobody has posted there for a long time now but it contains some useful info that should also apply to your board. You may also want to post there. There's a good chance that some of the guys have subscribed to that thread and will respond. I also recall that at some point the OP mentioned that he was planing to upgrade to a Yorkfield Quad and a X48 board.
