Hello all. I just built my first desktop. I'm using a 9800 GTX, Q6600, 750 GB WD HD, Xifi Fatality Soundblaster and PC and Cooling 750 watt power supply along with the GA-P35_DS3L motherboard.

For whatever reason, I cannot get my NIC to work. I've tried to reload the drivers but the computer will not connect to my Netgear router. And I don't see any network connections; however, the green light on the NIC on. I'd appreciate any assistance, as this is driving me crazy (so much so that I've been up all night).

Thanks. I troubleshot with a TSR from Gigabyte this morning. She recommend I RMA the motherboard after we went into the bios and removed the CMOS.

spiderjericho,
Sry to find out that you received a bad mobo, hopefully your replacement will function correctly. My DS3L is the first Gigabyte purchase that I have made, the install went nicely..even without having to reinstall the XP OS. I have it O/Ced to 3gig now and it is just humming..gotta love it. Let us know when you get your replacement.

Thanks. I'm playing the waiting game right now. I haven't heard anything from Gigabyte yet...even though I sent them e-mails the last two days.

I had the same problem with mine and couldnt get it to work so I just installed an NIC card in one of my PCI slots and everything is working great now.
