GA-P35-DS4 and GA-P35-DS3P Users

For all the Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4 and GA-P35-DS3P users out there.

Can you plug in a PCIe x1 I/O card into the 2nd PCIe x16 graphic slot, and plug in another PCIe x1 I/O card into any of the remaining PCIe x1 slots and have it work?

The block diagram in the manual gives the impression that this should work.
