GA-P35-DS3L issues in XP SP2

I used to have an Asus P5KC which I wasn't satisfied with. I had issues with getting my Xfi and Geforce to work together in XP. I also would get random failures in device manager from normal windows devices. Every reboot it seemed like there was a certain group of devices that would not work. I also used Vista with the same exact setup and it never had the issues XP did.

Either way I decided to use a more popular choice in the GA DS3L. Now I'm having the exact same problems with it in XP. I know the two boards were very similar so I guess this should have been expected. So I'm asking anyone how did you get this board to work in XP? My Xfi and 8800GTS do not seem to like this hardware under XP. Either both aren't working...or the Xfi driver won't load. If I update the Xfi in device manager it'll work...until next reboot. Like I said everything works fine under Vista so it looks like there are driver issues for XP.
