Is the GA-MA78LMT-S2 Gigabyte motherboard ok for an AMD Phenom X4 840 CPU for a non gaming non graphics PC without a video card running Win 7 Pro with 8GB of RAM

What is the audio like - I listen to youtube a lot?

What would I gain by getting a more expensive motherboard and do you have any suggestions for a better one?

I have a similar setup:

with GA-MA785GM-US2H board. It uses the same audio chipset. I have no issues with sound or performance under Win 7 and WinXP. 8GB of DDR2 RAM makes the system very smooth.
Your setup is going to be a very nice one. I'd rather upgrade to a dedicated GPU versus more expensive board.
