GA-MA785GM-US2H or Biostar A760G M2+

I'm building for a relative, I have a choice whereby I get him the Gigabyte in the title for $65 or the Biostar for free in a combo deal.

Personally, I don't like to compromise on the motherboard but free is enticing.

Which would you go with?

Hmm, I would pick the Gigabyte if I had to pay for both, but for free.. hard to say. The 760G works fine, but I haven't tried playing DVDs or HD video files to test whether the IGP is the same as the 780G.

Oh, biostar doesn't really update the BIOS much, so no Thuban support, and I think that mobo supports 95W max TDP CPUs only. No 125W CPUs.

Also, the Gigabyte unlocks, the Biostar doesn't.

VL, you hit it on the nailhead. I need to unlock cause, well... the 720 is a very good candidate. And the 95W max is a deal breaker.
Edit: Not to mention only 2 memory slots. Wow, dodged that bullet.

I'm glad I made the right choice. I just got confirmation of charge from Newegg just before your post.

Edit2: Just realized that the combos offered from Microcenter only offered cpus <= the 95W max. In any case, I'm pleased with my purchase.
