GA-K8NXP-SLI Sound problems.

Hey I got my Gigabyte GA-K8NXP-SLI board a couple of weeks ago and have been unable to get the onboard sound to correctly work. When I first installed the board, I attempted to connect the front panel audio but when I tested it out, the only sound came from the right channel. I've been running data recovery software for the past two weeks and have been unable to disconnect the front panel audio until yesterday. When I disconnected the front panel connectors and replaced the original jumpers I thought it would be fixed but I still get only the right channel from my headphones when plugged into the back. Any Suggestions?
