Just bought and have up and running a K8NXP running a single Leadtek 6600GT. Don't really feel the need at the moment to go SLI, since the system is plenty loud right now. Haven't spent alot of time trying to pin down the source of the excess noise, but the usual suspect would be the northbridge fan and of course the VGA fan. I'm running a Thermalright XP-90 CPU cooler and 92mm Panaflo fan, in a big Silverstone TJ06 case with 120 mm fans and a Seasonic Supersilent 430w PSU.

Has anyone used a northbridge cooler successfully on this board?

I want to buy a good VGA cooler (I'm had success with the Arctic cooling VGA silencer which is not too huge) but have no idea whether it will work if I go to SLI.

How about an SLI setup with aftermarket cooling?

Also, I am assuming that the dual power supply daughterboard makes things more stable, but I'm running everything at stock speed (AMD64 3000) and don't plan on oc'ing. Anyone seen any effect of keeping the daughterboard out of the system (has its own fan that I assume doesn't help things)
