I thought the GA-K8NXP-SLI was a good overclocker so I bought it. My ram and cpu are ok...they aren't causing the problem.
The problem is that when I raise the fsb above 210 it sometimes....sometimes only freezes just before drive detection...This is a really annoying problem and happens every now and then....
I need help, I have heard people saying the reached v high fsb numbers with this mobo? Am I doing something wrong?? Do I need to get some settings right? I even set a memory divider, lowered the cpu multiplier and set HTT multiplier to 4X. I need advice on what to do. Also I plan on using a pci audio card, and one more PATA drive (already using a sata drive) and I wish to know if they will cause an issue. Basicaly I need to know what settings to use, and to avoid..if I can avoid this annoying stalling/freezing problem.
