I've always read that the 2d abilities of the cards out there are great. I'm not looking for a great 'gaming' machine with this one. Therefore I do not really need great 3d capabilities.

If anyone has any suggestions on the video cards that work on this motherboard please leave me a message here.

I'm considering the 9600 pro or the 4200 ti 128 mb nvidia card.

Any 4 or 8 x video card should work fine with this board. It is not 3.3 volt compatible, which means you cannot utilize an older 2 x AGP card. I would go for the 9600 pro, as it has excellent graphics capabilities (2D and 3D) so if you did decide to play a good game once in a while it would still do well.
