GA-INXP trouble installing modems. HELP!!

Hi,

I have 2 pc's running XP Pro on a GA-INXP. When i try to install an External
Creative modem blaster serial V92 on the first PC, XP detects it then i go
through the various install menu's, get some way through and the blue screen
of death arrives then restarts the PC. When it restarts it wants me to
install the drivers again!!! and the same happens again.

First PC config.

XP PRO.
3.06 GHZ HT.
4 X 512 266 DDR.
Creative 4800 Ti 128 MEG
PCI 2 - Sound Blaster Platinum Live
PCI 4 - M Audio Delta 1010

I have tried removing the PCI cards but the same problems occur and i have
the latest drivers for the modem and motherboard.

As for the second PC, XP already had the drivers (Creative modem blaster 56
external serial) and everthing seems fine, except it cant detect a dial
tone. It dosent seem to "pick up the phone as such". If I disable "wait for
dail tone" it dials, but without connecting to the line (I've picked up the
phone at the same time and the modem cannot be heard.)

Second PC config.

XP PRO.
3.06 GHZ HT.

Creative 4800 Ti 128 MEG
PCI 2 - Sound Blaster Live Player


Seems to be a modem problem on both systems. Is it XP or this motherboard???
