GA-EP45-UD3P Raid Problem

I had an EX38-DQ6 with 2 raid 1 arrays. I changed mb to an EP45-UD3P. I connected one set of raid 1 hard drives to SATA2_0 & _1. I connected the second set of raid 1 hard drives to SATA2_ & _3. On boot, the post shows the 1st 2 hard drives conrolled by raid and a functional array. The second set of hard drives are never identified. Must I put the second set of hard drives on the GSATA2_0 & _1? I don't remember doing that on the DQ6.

Well, SATA0 through SATA5 are on the Intel controller, and GSATA0 and GSATA1 are on the Gigabyte SATA2 controller (Jmicron).
Which were the arrays on originally? If the second array was originally on a Jmicron controller, then it must be placed onto the Jmicron on the new board.

Different RAID controllers store their drive metadata in different ways, so if you want to migrate RAID arrays between motherboards, you MUST match up the controller chipsets or chipset family.

You cannot transfer a RAID array from an Intel controller to a Jmicron, or vice-versa.
