I just reformatted a llano system using this FM1 motherboard and misplaced the chipset drivers. I went to Gigabyte's website to pick them up and notice that the filename I was downloading mentions fm2.

The filename is: mb_driver_chipset-usb_fm2.exe

I am a bit nervous about installing this as I am not sure it is the proper file. Should I just install it and see what happens?

The worst possible thing it could ever happen is that you need to reformat again in case you get a BSOD as soon as Windows starts on both normal and Safe Mode.
FM1 and FM2 Motherboards uses the same Chipsets, so go ahead. Otherwise, download the Chipset Drivers from AMD website and get the latest version.

AMD's latest drivers are what you really want anyway, but they will be the same for FM1 and FM2 sockets. That it has an A75 is important for what chipset driver you need, not whether it's FM1, FM2, or their BGAs.
