Every once in a while when I turn the computer on it will do the cold boot cycle retardation and the load the default BIOS settings. This sucks because it loads up the default RAM 1.8VDC and as soon as this happens I can't boot the damn machine anymore. It can be bypassed with a stick of 1.8VDC DDRII but this issue is annoying the hell out of me. I'm running the F12 BIOS.

I've been hunting around on google trying to find a permanent fix for this but there STILL doesn't appear to be one :| Does anyone on this forum have some information I might make use of? Thanks.

Right, did that. It's an incompatibility between the mobo and anything but 1.8VDC RAM, however I don't think ALL RAM above 1.8 is affected though.

It can be fixed by installing 1.vdc ram, which will allow me to get into the bios to up the RAM volts. Once I do that, I can throw the G Skill DG9's back in and it works fine. I was just curious if anyone has run across a modded BIOS, or some other more permanent fix.
