GA-965P-DQ6 Power Off issue with Vista

I've got a brand new GA-965P-DQ6 with an E6600 and 2GB of Corsair 5-5-5-15 XMS2 PC26400 memory, nVidia 6600GT running Vista RTM. If I am using the computer, all seems fine. However, if I let it sit idle for a while, it turns itself off (haven't seen it happen, so I don't know if it's a blue screen or what).

I've already turned off all power management functions, so it's not going into sleep mode. And when I power it back on it does something weird. The power light will come on and the fan will come on for a second, then shut off. Then, about 3 seconds later, it will come back on again, then boot. It will then come up with a "Windows did not shut down properly" message and ask to boot into safe mode etc...

There's nothing in the event log to indicate a problem, other than a "shutdown at blah was unexpected". It's almost like the power supply is just shutting off.

Normally, i'd think this might be a PS problem, but a buddy of mine has the same board with a different power supply and has the exact same problem. I've updated to the latest BIOS, no change.

Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know of a solution?
