GA-8I865GME-775-RH (rev. 2.0)

I have an e4400 in the mail. At Gigabyte site, they state that the compatibility of the e4400 with this board is under testing. The board support the e4300 and it is undertesting with the e4400 since 2 weeks. I can do testing a little bit faster than that. Is there someone who knows if this board will boot the e4400. I think......... I will get it before Gigabyte's testing results. Thank you

That's odd. On the Conroe865PE, the CPU supported list shows the same BIOS rev supports both the E4300 (L2) and E4400 (L2). So it would seem to me that the same BIOS rev that supports the E4300 should support the E4400. Unless there is a newer stepping than L2 for the E4400s. I just got an E4400 too, and I have that mobo, as well as a couple of Asrock Conroe865PE mobos.

I acted like a novice. I forgot to clear the bios. Everything works perfect now. You are doing a good conclusion VirtualLarry. The only difference between the e4300 and the e4400 is the clock x from 9 to 10.
