Does anyone have the GA-7VTXH motherboard and tried to fit a SLK-900 onto it? The thermalright page doesnt list it but that probably just means they havent tested an "old" board like this.
the board does have 4 mounting holes around the socket, but as seen for a number of other mobo's this doesnt seem to guarantee compatibility at all, and the SLK-900 is like £50 ($80! pls dont go linking to cheaper US places
)... uhh maybe thats too much anyway just for a quieter PC, but i'd like to know wether its' possible for when deciding SK-7 vs SLK-900 choice (800 is nearly asmuch as the 900), and i suspect i'd be able to use the 900 for several cpu upgrades. erm i'm degressing, i just want to know if anyone has experienced trying to fit a slk-900 onto a ga-7vtxh mobo
