Hi !
I have an old Ga-7VRX ver2.0 board that has 2 bulged and leaking capacitors so I decided to send it for repairs and in the same time buy a new mobo and new cpu (AthlonXP 2500 barton core). When the old motherboard will come back, I'll just build a second small computer with it and the old cpu (athlonxp 2100).
Now my questions are:
1) Is the GA-7N400 Pro2 a very good Nforce2 AMD motherboard ? How about the Asus A78N or the Epox 8RDA+ ? How does it compare ?
2) My current 7Vrx works very well in linux. I was wondering how the support of the new nforce2 chipset is. Will I have problems with lets say mandrake 9.2 ?
Thanks a lot for the answers and ideas !
Have a nice weekend holidays !
