Awsome board so far but i'm still working out the bugs and thought to post here and see if anyone worked it out.
well with my GA-7DXR board it's weird. slot 1 and 2 are not shared. 5 is shared with 2. 4 is shared with the agp and 3 is shared with everything it seems like. I know the usb controller and the pci mass storage controller share an irq. which sucks because when the hard drive is heavly in use the mouse locks up for a second. The mouse is a USB mouse. I have the sound card in slot 1 and the nic in slot two and the only thing that shares an irq now is the usb controllers and the pci mass storage device (or raid controller) is there a way to change what irq it uses? i should check the device manager and see if i can change it manually. i doubt it but... has anyone figured out a work around?
also everytime i run 3dmark2001 in the middle it will reboot. I have the radeon and fast writes enabled but the radeon doesn't support fast writes. I thought to disable it and i still gotta try that. but does anyone have any other ideas of why? everything is at its defualt settings.
