GA 7DXR and 2200+

EDIT:
Turns out that the mobo is dead.

Anyone running this combo? I have the F9 BIOS and it won't post with the 2200+ but will with a 1.33.

That's kind of strange, the power output is pretty similar, and Gigabyte says it's supported... bad CPU maybe? Reversed heatsink? Different heatsink fan?

I am using the same HSF, it's a Glaciator and it can't go on backwards. I tried resetting the CMOS and still no go.

Look at page 25 of the manual and they mention that the system can't boot without an RPM signal being detected on CPU_FAN header at the upper right of the CPU socket. Could that be the issue?

Thanks.
CPU fan is plugged into the correct header. It will boot but not post. I suspect it is the CPU but maybe I'll replace the mobo anyway.
