ga-7dx wont shut down

Hi, I just put in a gigabyge ga-7dx motherboard in my sisters computer. The problem seems to be when I shut down or press the power button, the computer shuts down but a second later starts back up and begins to POST. Has anyone heard of such a problem or how to fix it? Thanks

Is this happening while you are still building. In other words, without the Operating system installed. If so, just press and hold the button for 4-5 seconds and it will shut down. No sweat. Supposed to be that way.

no this is after windows was installed and everything running perfectly other than that
