We are trying to install CentOS on an old server to give it new life and about 89% into formatting the HDD the motherboard starts beeping (integrated case speaker). All the alarms in the BIOS are turned off and the CPU temperature was at about 41 degrees Celsius.

The motherboard is a Gigabyte ga-7dpxdw-p
The CPU is assumed to be an AMD Athlon MP, although the bios says unknown CPU.

Does anybody know what's going on / can anybody help us diagnose this problem?

EDIT: We have found the problem. One of the hard drives was failing and setting off the raid card.
