Comes with the GMA X3000 graphics onboard. Well it's a much bigger number than GMA900 or GMA950, so does anyone know if it's of any use?
Thanks
Martin

3DMark 2001SE 6970
3DMark 2003 1788
3DMark 2005 845

A 6150 IGP would have a 3DMark 2005 of what, say 500-550 so it's good in comparison. And I've played Farcry on a 6150 IGP and was just about happy. I'm easily pleased.

the drivers are still coming along.

i have one but i havent tested it on the lastest 14.25 driver. the "good" driver with full sm3 hardware support wont come out until next yaer apparently. with the 14.21 driver it was awful btw.

Thanks - well I want firewire and if I want reasonable onboard graphics then the choice is limited, and this chipset possibly looks like delivering. It seems a lot to ask of a driver revision though I think. What do you think? I might have to stump up for a modest graphics card.

The performance is very CPU dependant so while the older GMA950 won't be able to beat Xpress 200/6150 with a Pentium 4/D, it might be able to with a Core 2 Duo.

GMA950 with a Core 2 Duo E6600(using Asrock Conroe 945G DVI) can get over 9k in 3dmark 01, while me with a Celeron D gets only over 3600.

i actually ran benchmarks on the 14.21 driver, gets like 15fps in wolf ET but a 6600gt gets 100fps.

its a good backup video (i.e. if you are between video cards) i think the 14.26 or even 14.25 driver will be much better. but right now i am using a non integrated card.
