The L76 has different heads, intake, and cam. Yeah it's 6.0L displacement and they're both GenIV LS-motors, so the block design should be very very similar, but to say it is a detuned LS2 with DoD isn't quite accurate.Originally posted by: Pariah

The G8 L76 (362HP) is roughly speaking, an LS2 (400HP, 400lbs-ft) with DOD, detuned to run on regular gas. Just tuning it for premium reportedly gives a decent HP boost.

Edmunds managed a 13.7. Keep in mind, Edmunds isn't exactly known for their fast times either. Considering this guy ran a 13.1 on a tune in near perfect conditions isn't too far fetched IMO.
