G630 fan not running

Hey guys im building my pc and just noticed the G630 fan doesnt run as soon as i power the PC. Is this normal, does it only run when it has high temp or something like that?

If you have the fan set to kick on at higher temperatures in the BIOS, it's possible it won't turn on until you start loading the chip. The G630 is an extremely cool-running/idling processor and in the winter in Wisconsin when my ambient temps are in the 50s, the stock fan doesn't run when I'm not pushing my G630 system.

Does your fan kick on after you've been making it work?

dont want to ask a stupid question, but is the wire connected? I have G620, and no it's not normal unless you set aut fan throttle from 0% speed in BIOS

Thanks a lot for your help guys, just noticed the fan´s power cable was messing with it and stopping it from running, though you were right it wasnt getting even warm without the fan working.

I have seen this a couple times. I think it go back to people pull the cable to plug onto the board it seems to pull into the space where the fan would spin and stop it from spinning.
