G5 what do you guys think?

I work in a retail store and we just got our G5 disply in. its pretty nice and real fast but there are a couple of things i notcied that i didnt like.
Inside the aluminum case there is a plastic panel that , if taken out, will greatly deterrorate the performance of the unit.

also there is only one CD drive, migh tnot be a problem for some people but i like having two for various reasons.

the layout inside is interesting with a lot of open space in the bottom. wondering what you guys think!

 
Yeah not a big fan of the Macs, but I haven;t really seen it indepth, so i will have to stay in the middle

I read that about 5 times and still can't figure out why removing a piece of plastic will degrade performance. 😕
 
Looks cool... I want to get a Powerbook first though.... Yuuuum! I don't understand why everyone has to HATE macs. They're not that bad, I bit on the pricey side. But otherwise, I don't see many problems with them...

I think the major problem is that most geeks are cheapasses as well.

Can you elaborate on the plastic panel? I'm assuming you mean cooling performance of the unit, not actual hardware performance.
 
G5's pwn you all. Most of you Mac dissers never even tried using a one, it's just hip to hate mac. Well I use one all day at work, and I use a PC at home. My PC's blows away alot of people's rigs, but I still prefer the Mac for graphics.

I honestly would get a mac... no problems with using OSX either... but i don't think i could shell out that much money. 🙁
