I don't know how well this thing runs renderman in realife, but it seems to me that the influx of private computer builders and the new G5 will destroy the company.

It's not so much the G5 that will kill them...Apple has a lot of marketting behind them so when they shout "uncompressed editing" those without the info will listen.


Honestly, the new mac looks cool. I LOVE the Optical out 😎
 
My friend just started playing with Final Cut Pro 4. He says it's balls out incredible.
I've messed with FCP3 a bit and it confused the ever living sh1t outta me.
