I think I have a defective PNY G3 TI 500 w/DVI and TV out.

On my computer the video card works nice and fast in analog or digital, the problem is that the TV out will not and never has worked (about a month).

I know the cable is good, the little adapter is good and the TV gives the proper signal back because I had it working with a MSI G3TI200 Pro without any issues.

I've installed and reinstalled (more than once) the drivers that came with it, the nVidia 30.82, the 40.41 and even TV Tool. In device selection tab, its always greyed out. The TV just barely flickers when I reboot the computer.

I'm open for any other suggustions but I think I've tried them all.

Does anyone have this card working with TV out and XP?

Time to RMA that card - I don't think there's anything you can do, if you say you tried all the available drivers - the TV-out chip is probably fried...

I know its the card. I switched back ti the GeTI200 and the TV out works fine.

Here's the RMA problem: They don't have anymore of these! My net cost was about $85. Here's the closest that they have now XFX nVidia Geforce4 Ti 4200 64MB DDR AGP w/TV&DVI cost net $139. As far as I can tell I'm not gaining anything. Maybe I'll keep the G3TI500 and use it another machine because I don't see anything comparable performace wize for $85

you might want to go with the rma and try to exchange for an ati or g4 card - they're better quality on the tv-out. I have a g4 playing out over s-video to a 65'' WD Mitsu - looks good.
