I've been spec'ing out equipment for about a month or two now for my next build and have always looked to the G965 chipset for my mATX motherboard needs. However, a friend of mine just pointed out to me that the G33 is "better". He didn't elaborate. All I can see is that the G33 supports 1333fsb. Is there any compelling reasons to go with the G33 over the g965? Is one "better" than the other?

The G33 chipset will overclock better and the G33 mobos should support the upcoming 45nm Penryn processors. Get the Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R. It's probably the best mATX 775 mobo available.

G33 replaced the G965.
