I currently have a Foxconn G9657MA-8EKRS2H, great motherboard and is happily running my BSEL-modded E4300 @ 2.4GHz.
I would like to try running my E4300 with a 1333FSB and run at the proper 1333FSB strap so I'd like to find a G33 motherboard that supports the BSEL mod.
The Foxconn G33M-S is at a decent price after rebate, but I can't find any confirmation that it supports the BSEL mod. It has AMI BIOS which makes me a bit leery, because every G965 based mATX board with AMI BIOS that I tried before buying my current Foxconn checked CPUID and wouldn't let me use a CPU with the BSEL mod.
I thought the Gigabyte G33M-S2 would be fine with the BSEL mod because it uses Award BIOS, same as my current Foxconn, but I have found confirmation on several websites that Gigabyte boards never support the BSEL mod and G33M models are no exception.
So, does anyone know if the Foxconn G33M boards support the BSEL mod? Or if there are other G33 boards that do?
