G3220 vs A6-6400

Colt45

I'm building a budget machine to replace a phenom II 720 x3 machine.

I'd like at least equivalent performance for peanuts. 3D isn't really important.

Bonus points for fitting in a dinky case. I've been loyal to AMD since after the PIII, but the pentium is looking like a better buy... How much difference will I see..?

also open to other suggestions.

CPU wise the Pentium G3220 is faster.

If you have a Discrete GPU i would suggest the Athlon 750K/760K which is Quad core and unlocked.
If you dont have a discrete i would suggest to invest a little more and go for the A8-5600K, AMAZON currently have it at $89,99.

If you cannot go that high then the Pentium is your best bet.
