G3220 + H81 - Ram Options

Hello,

Doing a cheap build with a G3220 and MSI H81 board.

I have read that the G3220 only supports DDR3 1333, while the board supports up to DDR3 1600.

Can I run 1600? What about 1866?

Any input would be appreciated.

Hi, just putting together this exact build for a friend. Best advice is go for the 1333mhz RAM. You will litterally not be able to notice the difference between the 2.
