G2 Pro vs G4 ti 4200 128MB under UT2003?

I played the demo of Ut2003 over the weekend on my P4 with a G2 Pro @1024x768 with High Details. I rarely saw any slowdown in firefights. Because I don't have a Radeon, G3 or G4 Ti I can't compare visually the quailty. Will I notice a difference in this game (and RTCW)? Should I wait and get something that will play DOOM III better?

The Demo of UT2003 comes with much smaller textures than will be used in the real game. I would wait to see how the Retail game performs with the new high-res textures before making a decision. If the retail game performs OK then waiting another 6 months to purchase something for Doom3 will be a good option.

Hiii , where have you read that it will have bigger textures in rerail, I am not afraid with ti4200 128mb, but I am interested in this information, it means that final version will have nicer look and textures???
like high detail options in video settings for all parameters??? Give me a link where have you read about it , thakie

If you have downloaded the demo go to C:\UT2003Demo\Help\ReadMe-Demo.txt

"Textures in the full game are, on average, 2X higher resolution than in the demo. The textures in the demo were reduced because of download size limitations."

2x higher resoltion means they will be 4x the size(memory).
