Marketing wise, they should have given the kit a different, fancier set of heat spreaders and a special name. IMO, high-end enthusiasts can already afford the cutting edge anyway, so they're going to go for the best of the best - probably OCZ's latest high speed offering or Corsair Dominator GTs, etc. Something that's out of the price range of most people. Since G.Skill Ripjaws are widely available (although in slower speeds, worse latencies, and smaller kits), so they won't really LOOK like anything special in an otherwise outrageous rig.
