G.Skill f2-8000cl5d-4gbpq 5-5-5-15 . Lower Timings?

I just put together a new system with an E8400, EVGA 780i mobo, and 4gb of G.Skill DDR2-1000 5-5-5-15 ram.

I did a quick OC of 450x9 with the ram at 450 1:1. That would be and underclock running this set of ram at 900mhz. Just set it there and ran Prime 95 for 4 hours solid without getting in to playing with memory timings next.

I was wondering what kind of timings people are running this set of ram at while at different speeds.

Not just the TCL, TRCD, TRP, TRAS... but also the , TRRD, TRC, TWR, TWTR, TREF.

Well, you'll need to OC & tweak it for yourself to see, but most of those kits can do at least 525 MHz (DDR2-1050).
At DDR2-900, it might do 5-4-4, or possibly 4-4-4 if you get really lucky.

The most important subtiming for achieving decent speeds with that RAM is the TRFC...you want it nice n loose, at least 48 or 52+, as anything lower & you might not even hit 500 MHz.

Here's a thead on your kit...good info in there.
